Promoting from within at Pure
Our people are our most important asset. So we’re really happy to announce that we’ve recently promoted two of our Essex finance recruitment team. Hannah Flindall has been promoted to Business Director, while Victoria Lumley is now a Managing Consultant.
We announced these to the company at a recent team meeting. That meant all of us were able to celebrate these well-earned promotions together.
More about Hannah
Hannah’s career in recruitment started in March 2001. She’s spent most of it specialising in senior accountancy recruitment throughout Essex, as well as five years doing the same in Australia. She came back to British shores in October 2013 when she joined our Chelmsford office. And she’s been a vital part of it ever since.
Ben Farrow, Operations Director at Pure said, ‘Hannah’s built brilliant and deep-rooted relationships with our clients and jobseekers – hearing her talk to, advise and consult with them is a joy, and often sounds like she’s talking with a good friend. She always offers professional and quality service that adds value and takes on board individual needs.’
Hannah’s passionate about business development, and building strong relationships with our clients, both current and new. She’s also led Best Employers Eastern Region for Chelmsford for several years now, as well as looking after our valuable temp workers, making sure they’re ready for assignments as needed.
Hannah’s incredibly professional in her work, both individually and for the Chelmsford team. As well as this she’s also very empathetic, flying the flag for working parents at Pure, and always ready with support, advice and a sympathetic ear.
More about Victoria
Victoria graduated from Leeds University in 2004 after studying politics. She started her recruitment career in 2006, working in the legal, medical and financial industries. Before joining Pure she worked for a large national agency in Essex where she specialised in accountancy and finance recruitment for nine years, building deep relationships in the area – something she’s very passionate about. She brought that passion and experience to Pure in June 2021. From the moment that she walked in the door and picked up the phone, it was like she’d always been here.
Ben said, ‘Vic’s dedicated to finding the right people for our clients. She works hard for jobseekers too – if she doesn’t already have a role available for someone, she’ll do her best to find them one. We all love working with her, and we’re looking forward to seeing her career continue to develop.’
Vic also uses her knowledge and experience to understand every part of our clients’ organisations, then recommends the best people to thrive within their culture.
Finally, she’s a real team player. She’s coached and supported a colleague through their graduate programme, and is always available for her team, and the wider company.
