Summer season Directors Clubs
Our next series of Directors Clubs, held in association with Grant Thornton, will take place across the region between 20th June and 11th July with the key theme of ‘Operational Optimisation’.
Pure Executive has been holding Directors Clubs (formerly known as FD Clubs) with Grant Thornton since 2014, providing the chance for business leaders and senior professionals to come together to share experiences, gain insights from industry experts and to discuss topical issues likely to impact on businesses and the regional economy.
The summer season breakfast clubs will provide attendees with the opportunity to explore the benefits of operational optimisation. The discussions will include looking at reviewing systems, processes and procedures for potential efficiency improvement, cost savings and freeing up valuable resource to focus on more strategic matters. Guest speakers will share their experience of best practice projects which have been delivered across a variety of industries and businesses. There will also be time for guests to share approaches with each other and to gain input and ideas from other business leaders.
Jodie Woodrow, Senior Manager at Pure Executive, said: “At a time when the availability of skilled resource is limited, efficiency is more important than ever. Streamlining processes and behaviours is necessary to ensure organisations are able to get more out of less and realise their growth ambitions. As well as looking at ways to optimise operations, the sessions will also cover the wider ‘emotional’ impact of potential changes and how the culture of an organisation can affect how smoothly and quickly changes can be implemented.”
The Directors Clubs will be taking place on the following dates, with all sessions running from 8.30am to 10.30am:
- Wednesday 20 June – Norwich
- Tuesday 26 June – Chelmsford
- Thursday 28 June – Ipswich
- Thursday 5 July – Peterborough
- Wednesday 11 July – Cambridge
The Directors Clubs are part of an extensive calendar of events by professional recruitment specialists Pure and Pure Executive, its Executive Search division, which are designed to support local businesses to develop talent, create innovative and engaging places to work and to support the economic growth of the Eastern region.
