Our annual Essex Charity Quiz will be taking place on Thursday 19th April at the Holiday Inn in Basildon, with all proceeds raised being split between the J’s Hospice and Kids Inspire.

We’re once again inviting business teams to join us for the battle of the brains evening and to compete for the coveted title of Quiz Champions 2018 while raising money for two extremely worthwhile charities.

Businesses can enter a team of 6 players, with up to two teams per organisation. The cost is £40 per team, which includes a light buffet. The team entry fees are all donated to the chosen charities and further funds are raised through the annual raffle, with an array of fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses.

We have developed strong connections with both of these fantastic charities and we are proud to be able to support the excellent work they do. Our annual charity quiz is one of our main fundraising activities and we’ve always enjoyed extremely generous support from local businesses taking part and donating raffle prizes. Last year we raised over £1,700 for these two charities and we hope to raise just as much, if not more this year.”

The J’s Hospice, based in Great Baddow, provides respite and hospice care services for young adults aged between 16 and 40 who are suffering from life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Chelmsford-based Kids Inspire helps to heal the wounds of trauma and reconnect young people with both themselves and society through mentoring, therapy, training and activity packages.

The quiz starts at 7 pm, with doors opening at 6 pm. A fully licensed bar is also available.
